How to make Soft Tofu Soup?


I'm Korean blogger Daniel~
How are you today?

I'll introduce a special 
soft tofu soup recipe today.
I used some conch meat for today's menu.
It'll make better taste of soup.
And it has a really nice texture too.


 #Cooking time :: about 20minutes
#Today's Calories :: about 350kcal



 1] First, wash your hands,
and prepare ingredients 
for today's recipe.



 2] Cut onion and zucchini
 into about 2cm x 2cm.



3] Cut some mushrooms 
into the same size with onion, 
and slice green onion and spicy green pepper.



 4] Now we're gonna prepare some conch!
I'll use just the meat part of the conch.
First, stab it with a chopstick,
and turn it really carefully.
Then, remove the green guts.
Because this green part has a bitter taste.
OK now, just slice it!



 5] Cut the soft tofu's plastic skin,
scoop it with a spoon,
And then put it in the large bowl.



 6] Crack an egg in the bowl.
But don't crack the yolk.



7] Refer to the above ingredients' information,
make a spicy paste for soft tofu soup.



 8] OK, now let's start to make it.
Add 1T red pepper oil into the preheated pot,
and stir fry cut onion and half amount of green onion.
Stir fry it about 1minute,
and place sliced conch meat on them.



 9] And I'll add some mirim
 to remove bad flavor of conch.
Mirim is a kind of cook alcohol.





 10] Now, add some water about 400ml,
 and put spicy paste in it.



 11] When it's boiling,
remove some impurities.



 12] And now, place cut zucchini and onion.
And then after it's boiling,
taste it, and if you want to 
make it more bold,
add some salt in it.
And add soft tofu on them.



13] Now, add cut spicy green pepper 
and place an egg too.



 14] This is the last step!
Boil it about 3 minutes more.
Now, Enjoy your Spicy Soft Tofu Soup!





< Soft Tofu Soup Tips! >

1) Use some conch meats!
That is good for our health,
and have a good texture too.
Spicy soup, chewy conch meat, 
and soft tofu were in perfect harmony!

2) Use Red pepper paste!
This ingredient is really important 
for today's recipe.
I recommend using from Korea.
It has a good flavor.

I'm Korean blogger Daniel.
Today, I'm gonna introduce 
a Korean restaurant located Seoul station.
Are you visiting in South Korea?
If you can't decide what to eat in Seoul,
I recommend eating here.

It was located close from Seoul station.



 Can you see that orange building?
That's a Seoul Square Mall.
The restaurant is in there~



So, we have to cross the road.



 Can you see that gate number?
9-1 gate!
If you use a subway,
use this gate.
The restaurant is really close from this gate.




 We're arriving now~~
OK, go inside right now~!



 We have to go to down floor.
Use the escalator.



We're almost come!



 Can you see the second word?
"땅끝햇살"
It means "The sunshine at the end of the earth."



 I could feel it's clean and
 Korean traditional interior.



 You can check the menu in front of the door.
They offer a English menu too, Don't worry~







 I loved that interior!
Oriental, traditional Korean Style.



 OK, now look at this menu.
All things were Korean cook items.



 I recommend eating combo menu.
That is a rational choice!
It include Roasted pork,Kimchi soup,
Sweet potato croquette,rice.

You can enjoy this combo menu(For 2 people)
 only KWD22,000(even included tax price)!!
(About $20CAD)



 I liked its vintage stuff.



 I ordered one sprite too.
but then, just only 24,000 KWD!
I think that was not a expensive wage.



Let's look around inside.
I could feel comfortable.
just like staying in my real home. 
I liked bright mood too.



Now, let's try the foods!



 First menu was a Kimchi soup.
They used a nice ferment Kimchi.
It had a little bit sour, and fresh flavor too.
Also, they put enough pork in it.
It helped feeling us better flavor.


  
Just eat like this :)
Add some Kimchi soup
(about 3spoons) on the rice~
And mix it lightly and enjoy it!
This is a Korean style!!



Wow, this is the today's main menu!
Roasted pork, I could feel its bold flavor.


  
When you try this menu,
add some sliced green onion on it.
It tastes really nice~!



Nice balance with warm rice!
I love its marinated sauce.
Sweet and nice bold flavor.
Totally Korean style!!



 What's the next menu~
This is a sweet potato croquettes.
It look really crispy,
Let's try this!



When I bit it,
I could crispy sound by my ear!
It had really crispy texture and sweet flavor.
I think, that was good for a desert.



 Wow, now we clear!
